I recently used the home inspection services of this company, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about the inspection process and unsure of what to expect. However, the inspector from this company was incredibly professional and thorough.

From the moment I contacted the company, the staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to schedule my inspection quickly and even provided me with a detailed explanation of what the inspection would entail. During the inspection, the inspector carefully examined every aspect of the home, from the foundation to the roof. They provided me with a comprehensive report that highlighted any defects or potential issues that needed attention.

The report was easy to understand and included detailed explanations and photos of each issue. The inspector took the time to explain the report to me and answer all of my questions. They even provided me with recommendations for how to address each issue.

Overall, I would highly recommend this home inspection business to any first-time homebuyer. The inspector was knowledgeable, thorough, and professional, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I feel much more confident about my home purchase knowing that I had such a detailed and thorough inspection. Thank you for providing such a valuable service!

Cannot say enough positive things about shield guard home inspections and their team.

First, we booked online (www.shieldguardinspections.com in a fairly smooth process. Priced checked them and their prices are within range given the value and service.

We did wait a week for an available appointment and thank god we did. We’ve had 2 previous inspections before on investment properties and they fell short to say the least. Ken and jordan came out to perform a home inspection with septic system evaluation along with a level 2 chimney inspection. Ken was very clear and precise with his answer to our questions. Not surprising as he is a general contractor so he was able to answer those difficult questions. Ken found structural issues on the inspection. After the inspection i spoke with Ken and Adam (the owner) who both offered me their professional opinion on the foundation.

It was a great convo as we still ended up getting the property due to the honest and low cost method of correction for the foundation. Other inspectors always advised us that the foundations need to be replaced if they contain a bow. Not this time, Ken and Adam described a method that was 30% of the cost and still provided the peace of mind that we needed.

Reports were clear, not fluffed with a bunch of meaningless narrative and straight to the point.

The only issue we had was the radon runner was late to pickup the radon from shield guard home inspections. Which delayed the radon ONE day. No biggie. Ken and Adam to this day assist me with questions i have regarding residential and commercial home inspection within and around saratoga and albany ny.

Additionally we have hired shield guard home inspections to perform indoor air quality testing, well shocking and even assisted us on a Refinance construction loan that required a hud consultant which Adam the owner is- I wasn’t aware at the time of our home inspection though.

We cannot say enough positive things about shield guard and their team. There’s a reason why they have so many positive reviews across the web. Don’t make the same mistake we did 2x and call these guys.
