Embrace the Belmont II brings the Saratoga Springs year-round community together to learn basic handicapping and explore the 2025 Belmont Stakes field. This event helps local business owners, professionals, and residents deepen their understanding of horse racing, so you’ll feel prepared to not only embrace the Belmont Racing Festival but also feel capable of discussing this year’s Belmont Stakes field with an aura of expertise. Last year’s sold-out event at the National Museum of Racing proved the demand, so this year, Embrace the Belmont II moves to a larger venue: Universal Preservation Hall.

Emcee: Donna Brothers, fresh from covering the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes for NBC Sports, she’ll emcee the event and lead our Belmont Stakes discussion with our expert handicappers.
Embrace the Belmont is the brainchild of Laura Simiele of Untamed Filly, Stars Aligned Stable and Host of the NYRA Morning Show, Rachel Dunn of Sackatoga Stable and StableConnect, and Donna Brothers. These three women are passionate about horse racing and the work of Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga and created this event to share their passions with the community.
