About this event
“Holiday Memories” is a lighted Christmas tree memorial in remembrance of loved ones who have passed away, but are forever in our hearts.
Individuals, families, civic groups, etc. are invited to participate by purchasing a Christmas tree and decorating it in memory of a loved one.
A $70.00 fee covers the cost of the tree, lights, memorial sign, electricity and memorial souvenirs. Participants will be required to provide their own decorations.
Only the first 65 paid applications can be guaranteed a tree. The Christmas Trees will be installed and ready to decorate on Sunday, November 24, 2024 between the hours of 10:00am and 12:00pm. You are responsible to have the tree decorated ON THAT DAY, please no exceptions.
All trees will be lit simultaneously at the ceremony on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 5:00pm in the Abele Memorial Park in front of the Town Municipal Center, 111 Route 236, and will remain lit throughout the month of December.
All decorations must be removed from the trees no later than Sunday, January 5, 2025; weather permitting. After that date, all remaining decorations and trees will be discarded.
