The Saratoga Springs Professional Firefighters I.A.F.F. Local 343 sponsored hockey team, Saratoga Springs Fire Hockey, will be hosting the Saratoga Springs Police PBA Hockey team in the annual Saratoga Springs Fire & Police Holiday Hockey Classic to benefit the Franklin Community Center’s Holiday Assistance Program.
The Holiday Assistance Program provides local families with the means to make the holidays a little less stressful and provides the opportunity that every child can wake up Christmas morning with a present waiting for them. This program through community donations is able to help hundreds of families every Christmas season.
Doors will open at the Saratoga Springs Weibel Ice Rink at 5:00pm with a game time scheduled for 6:00pm. After the game everyone is invited to join both teams at King’s Tavern
If you would like to donate but can not attend the game, collection boxes will be available started Monday October 28th at the following locations
Saratoga Springs Fire Department Station 1 located at 60 Lake Avenue
Saratoga Springs Fire Department Station 2 located at 166 West Avenue
Saratoga Springs Police Department located at 5 Lake Avenue
Kings Tavern located at 241 Union Avenue
