About this event
In this class, artists will learn the Frankenfly technique, available exclusively at Saratoga Paint & Sip.
Discovered in the Capital Region during the 2020 pandemic, Frankeflies are made out of real, responsibly sourced butterfly wings. The wings are delicate and finicky, and therefore take several hours to lay down properly for the artwork.
Butterfly wing coloring sheets, on the other hand, are easy enough for anyone!
In this unique workshop, artists of all ages and abilities will pick their own pre-cut stencil (dog, cat, ballerina, llama, dinosaur, etc.) and use coloring sheets to create their very own butterfly masterpiece.
Every Frankenfly is a one-of-a-kind!
