Clifton Park Beverage Center Brings Craft Brews and More to the Community
After two years of planning, business partners Kushan Patel, Pratik Shah, and Jay Patel have opened Clifton Park Beverage Center at North Country Commons, 1208 NY-146. It's quickly become a local favorite since its soft opening on May 10.
With over 20 years in the beverage industry, Kushan Patel brings his expertise from managing centers in Colonie and Troy.
Shah and Jay Patel joined him. They saw Clifton Park’s growth and the need for a nearby beverage center, leading to their spacious 7,000-square-foot location.
The store is known for its wide selection of New York craft beers, local and international sours, ales, IPAs, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Bottle redemption services are available for all brands.
Clifton Park Beverage Center also stands out for its knowledgeable staff, referred to as “beer concierges,” who offer personalized recommendations. Kushan Patel’s deep understanding of breweries and brands adds to the store’s appeal.
The grand opening in June was a success, with a warm community response and many repeat customers. Future plans include online ordering, DoorDash and Uber Eats delivery, and regular tasting events.

Mediterranean Eatery "Pita & Olive" holds it's Grand Opening in Clifton Park
A new restaurant is opened in Clifton Park, located in the Clifton Park Center Mall. Pita & Olive held its grand opening on September 24th, offering traditional Mediterranean food.
Co-owner Sal Niazi said, "We've been working on the interior design for some time now to offer a more elevated experience for the community, and it's finally come to fruition."
Open Monday through Friday from 11 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 9 pm, and there are plenty of exciting options.
Dive into the baba ghannouj, falafel, kabobs pitas and more. The fan-favorite baked Kofta pita features a baked-to-perfection hand-stretched pita filled with ground beef, topped with pine nuts, a hint of sumac, and a spicy garlic yogurt sauce.
