Brighten Your Holidays at Quick Response’s Santa’s Playland
Quick Response’s Santa’s Playland Holiday Lights is back and ready to dazzle with a luminous holiday spectacle! Kicking off on Thanksgiving Eve, this beloved local tradition invites you to experience hundreds of animated light displays, set to festive holiday music—all from the comfort of your own car.
And the best part? It's completely free and perfect for the whole family!
Now in its 24th year, Santa’s Playland transforms Quick Response’s location at 2095 US-9 in Round Lake, NY, into a magical display that takes over two months to assemble. The event runs from November 27, 2024, to January 6, 2025, and is open Wednesday to Sunday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Make sure to visit before Christmas to catch Santa himself, who will be on-site from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. through December 22.
There will be daily cash card giveaways, as well as special charity nights featuring Toys for Tots on December 7 and 8 and Toys for Toga on December 13.

New Upscale Restaurant Announced for Clifton Park: The Grille by Jacob & Anthony’s
Marrello Restaurants and Catering is set to expand its footprint in the Capital Region with the opening of The Grille by Jacob & Anthony’s in Clifton Park, targeting a spring 2025 debut. The new restaurant will occupy the former Ninety-Nine location at 306 Clifton Center Road, next to Chick-fil-A, following a complete renovation and expansion of the building.
The Grille will feature a menu of expertly aged steaks, fresh seafood, innovative salads, and the signature J&A Burger, alongside an extensive wine list and craft cocktails. Guests can expect a relaxed yet upscale ambiance similar to the Jacob & Anthony’s location in Saratoga Springs.
Additionally, the site will include a new Bellini’s Counter, offering fast-casual options like pasta, wraps, and salads, expanding the dining options for the community.
"We are excited to open our doors in Clifton Park and introduce our loyal customers to our new space," Marrello told News 10 ABC.
The former Ninety-Nine building closed in June 2023 and will undergo significant renovations before reopening as The Grille by Jacob & Anthony’s. Stay tuned for updates as the project progresses!
